Joseph Statham

Co-Founder & COO

Joseph Statham

Hello, my name is Joseph Statham. Most people at work call me Joe.

I have a loving Fiancé, Daniela who is always supporting and encouraging me to chase my dreams. We have 6 wonderful kids, our own little Brady bunch.

We spend our weekdays working and spending time at the ball fields or at Cheer practice. We love to travel and find new places to explore. Fitness is a passion and lifting weights is something we do on a regular basis. We also enjoy our downtime, though it comes far and few between, and enjoy just hanging out and watching a good movie or show when we can.

My professional career began in maintenance. I worked offshore doing maintenance on fixed and rotating equipment when I was 21 years old. After four years I began to learn the field and realized that I wanted to be a part of preventing failures and making facilities operate more reliably rather than fixing them when they broke. I started my inspection journey as a Draftsman/UTT technician in a plant in Lake Charles Louisiana.

I progressed in my career and obtained my API 510, 570, 580, and 653 certifications while working as a contract inspector. I eventually hired on with a major chemical plant in Lake Charles Louisiana where I began to understand true asset management and mechanical integrity vs simply inspecting and finding issues.

I progressed in my career and became the Inspection Superintendent, gaining more understanding of what it is to develop, implement, and maintain a mechanical integrity/asset management program. I also gained an understanding of the business side of the inspection industry, what drives decision-making, and how to best optimize a fixed inspection budget for a large corporation.

All of our knowledge and experience led Randy and me to start InServe MIG to bring the best of the contractor’s inspection experience and the owner-user management to our customers to help optimize their inspections and mechanical integrity programs.
