Jaime Thibodeaux

API Inspector
Rope Access Level III

Jaime Thibodeaux

My name is Jaime Thibodeaux, my wife and I have a 3-year-old son named Acen who our world revolves around.

We are an active family and are always on the go trying to make the most out of life. Our weekends usually consist of hanging out at family or friend’s house while cooking and doing anything competitive or spending the day out on the town going to parks and eating out.

I am currently working at a nested site in Baton Rouge, La performing (API 510 & 570) inspections as well as being the Rope access Level 3 supervisor. I have been in the inspection industry since 2012.

I started out in inspection shooting welds at fabrication shops and shipyards. I knew that is not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life so I set goals to achieve the 4 major level 2 certifications so that I could start to move up in my career.

After achieving this goal shortly after I was a technician, I discovered rope access and knew that was the next stepping stone in my career, I immediately pursued this path and eventually got my Level 3 certification in rope access.

The next stepping stone was to get my API 510 & 570 certifications, which I did a couple of short years later.

Since then, I have worked in-house at multiple refinery and chemical plants, as well as offshore, and turnaround work, so that I can gain the most experience in the shortest amount of time.
