Our coatings experts will ensure proper surface preparation and application to maximize your coatings life and minimize costly premature failure. InServe provides full scope coating services from evaluation, coating selection, and inspection throughout the process. You’re in good hands with our professionals.

Our engineers are experienced in the design, fabrication, operation, & inspection of above ground storage tanks giving them the perspective they need to provide common sense consultation that will save your facility direct and indirect cost from repairs.

The goal of RBI is to optimize inspection-related activities for equipment using updated technologies, sound inspection strategies and RBI software capabilities. This process then enables facilities to achieve optimized maintenance scheduling, prioritization of equipment inspections, focused inspection dollars on the most critical areas, extended inspection intervals of low-risk equipment, and to facilitate run/repair/replace decisions.

All hydrocarbon & chemical process piping that has been placed in service falls under API-570. Some piping that has been designated as “out of service” may be covered under this code if it is possible that it would be a safety hazard due to continuing deterioration. Other piping not specifically mentioned in API-570 can be inspected at the owner/user’s discretion, such as PVC and Tubing.

API 510 covers the inspection, repair, alteration, and rerating activities for pressure containing vessels as well as the pressure relieving devices that protect the equipment covered in the code. This code is applicable to refining and chemical processing plant equipment as well as the equipment from other industrial and manufacturing companies. If the equipment is in-service and stamped with an ASME “U” stamp, then the equipment was constructed to ASME Sec. VIII Div. 2 and is covered under API 510.
Tanks built to API 650 and its predecessor API 12C that are in-service are covered by API-653. Tank foundation, bottom, shell, structure, roof, attached appurtenances, & nozzles are all required to be inspected. Inspections are required at recommended intervals to remain compliant with code and environmental regulations.
The STI SP001 standard contains inspection and evaluation criteria for shop-built and small field-erected tanks not governed by API 653 codes, but require regular inspection and maintenance to remain compliant. This includes storage tanks up to 50,000 gallons (189,271 liters), including tanks that are portable, skid-mounted, liner-equipped, double-walled, and partially buried. This standard also covers the inspection of smaller portable containers such as 55-gallon drums, intermediate bulk containers or (IBC’s), and other container that are constructed of metal or plastic. Inspections are required at recommended intervals to remain compliant with the code and environmental regulations.

Drones in many ways change the way we approach our inspection programs. Through several partners, InServe Mechanical Integrity Group provides exceptional UAV services that include Visual Inspection, Photography, Videography, & 3D Modeling.
Asset Integrity Management systems define the capability of a fixed asset to perform as designed in a safe and reliable fashion. InServe can deliver Asset Management solutions that can increase the reliability and safety of your facility.
An isometric drawing represents the basic system configuration of the pipe system in the field. Drawings typically incorporate all known data from combined spool piece drawings as well as noting all indicated welds during field walkdown. InServe uses a detailed template for CAD drawings allowing for continuous updating to track past and present NDE efforts, material of construction, pipe footage, etc.
InServe’ s Engineering Group provides industries around the world with cost-effective strategies for managing the integrity, safety and reliability of their assets. In partnership with our clients, we develop a systematic and customized approach for ensuring the integrity of equipment, piping and tanks throughout their life cycle.
Turnaround Inspections play an important role in maintaining a reliable facility. InServe knows the importance of highly attentive and well-trained inspectors in the distinctive area of inspection. From consulting and pre-turnaround work to reporting and documentation, our experienced team can provide the client with turnkey inspection support from start to finish.
